Your Complete Guide to Hair Loss

Q. When is it too late to start looking after your hair and scalp?

A. Never. Literally, it’s never too late and in all honesty, prevention is always better than cure so even if you’re not worried about hair loss, adopting practices to keep your hair and scalp in their best shape will help you in the long run.

3 Types of Hair Loss - 

1. Stress

Imagine feeling stressed trying to research reasons behind hair loss, only for one of the reasons to be… stress. *sigh*. Stress-induced hair loss is called Telogen Effluvium, sounds like a spell from Harry Potter but it is the scientific term for temporary hair loss due to excessive shedding of resting hair. Oh, and FYI, it’s very normal to lose between 50-100 strands of hair every day. Yep, every single day. So, don’t worry. Reaching the deadline for your dissertation, job hunting, relationship problems, having a new born, or trauma. All these could be reasons why your stress levels are increasing, causing hair loss.

 What’s next?

For stress induced hair loss try the inversion method. My holy grail massage technique. Follow these simple steps:

  1.  Grab your En-Root Scalp Treatment and apply this on your scalp using the nozzle whilst gently rubbing it into your scalp.
  2. Flip your head upside down, like the Uttanasana in yoga terms
  3. Massage your head in circular motion for at least 3 minutes, using your Squish or your fingertips.

2. Having an unbalanced diet
